Our Products
We are just beginning this venture, and while our dreams are big, our products are few. We will have
a small amount of produce available this spring and summer, much more in the fall, and even
more next spring and summer -- as we greatly expand our garden space. The hold up is deer fence,
which is currently going up on one of our two new gardens. These things take time.
We raise Jacob and Navajo-Churro
sheep, with a large variety of colors. We will have wool products -- ranging from fleeces, to skirting,
to roving, to finished yarn -- soon after shearing in late spring.
Please check back with us if you are a spinner or a weaver, or know someone who is.
Beverly has been making soap for some time, and we plan on using many of her soaps in our
cabins for our farm-stay guests. As we expand our presence in the
produce market, we plan to sell our soaps at farmer's markets and to our produce customers.
Eventually, once we have the sheep and cattle down, we will add dairy goats and will offer cow,
sheep, and goats milk, cheese, yogurt and other dairy products. We also plan to utilize milk in our soaps.
As you can see, we are at the early stages of our products, as with everything else. This year
has, thus far, been spent learning about sheep and cattle, and building cabins. Selling products from
our farm is something that will happen, we are just not quite there yet.
